Ensure the safety of your belongings with coverage for lost, damaged or stolen baggage and valuables throughout your trip.

Baggage delay by the carrier

Compensates you in excess of any compensation received for the temporary loss of checked-in baggage during your outward journey for over 12 hours.

You will also be reimbursed for emergency replacement of clothing, medication and toiletries up to the limit mentioned above. If your baggage is permanently lost, please refer to the lost baggages and valuables sections of your coverage.

Main exclusion

  • Due to delay, confiscation or detention by customs (or other authorities)
  • Baggage shipped as freight or under a bill of lading
  • Costs or charges for which any carrier must, has or will compensate

Covers you in case of accidental loss, theft or damage to baggage and valuables for all beneficiaries travelling together. If an item can be economically repaired, only the cost of repair will be covered.

Coverage applies when your baggages are handled by the carrier, authorities or hotel throughout your trip.

  • Unexplained loss and disappearance
  • Personal money when you cannot provide withdrawal evidence
  • Baggage shipped as freight or under a bill of lading
  • Anything left unattended (unless in a hotel safe or locked safety deposit box)
  • Items purchased more than 5 years ago
  • Any applicable depreciation

  • Carrier report if your item was mishandled by the carrier

Mugging

Personal possessions mugging
Up to €500

Covers you if your personal possessions are stolen during a mugging while travelling. Reimbursement is based on the replacement value. Repayment is required for recovered stolen possessions and the cost of repair is covered for damaged possessions if it is economical.

  • Does not apply in the country of residence
  • Items purchased more than 5 years ago
  • If claim not reported within 48h to the local police
  • Any applicable depreciation
